Access Oil Tools TS-108 Twister Spin Iron Roughneck Units (NEW!) 4 Each.

The Twister Spin is a combination of the Twister Torque and a Drill Pipe Spinner. This combination tool allows the drill pipe to be spun up and immediately wrenched to full torque. It can be used over the mousehole or drill string.

The spinner can be either pneumatically or hydraulically operated and can incorporate either a Roller or Chain type drive. The unit is spring mounted on the Twister Torque® which allows for the required vertical movement between the two pieces of equipment as the pipe is made up. Separate controls on the spinner allow the torque tool and the spinner to be operated independently if required.

The Twister Spin can be hung from the derrick alone or can be installed with a horizontal positioning arm, which allows the tool to be moved back from the hole. These methods of suspension also allow the tool to be moved between the mousehole and the drill string.
